Today, there is one man come to my dad's restaurant, bringing a black handbag.
Everyday there is few people asking donation come to my dad's restaurant, so initially I didn't pay much attention to this man.
He sits on other customer's table, and taking out some paperwork to show somethings.
As usual, the customer is waving his hand, rejecting his intention.
However, the man is very determined. He keep talking, until the customer is gone.
Fruitless, he keep staying in my dad's restaurant, finding the next target.
Now you might wonder why my dad didn't chase this man away, since he is keep disturbing the customers.
Well, I don't have good answer. My dad used to like that, I don't know why.
Let me continue the story.
After another fruitless try, this man finally approaches my friend - Mr. Phua Eng Lu, one of the victims in this story. (He's also the author of this blog, anyone interested please add him on your IM: samlee1988@live.com)
This man claims that he is Taiwanese, and he is good in face-interpretation.(看相,if you know the better word than face-interpretation, please let me know by comment to this blog.) According to him, he had interpret for many people in Taiwan and Kuala Lumpur.
He takes out a picture with a man's face and the position of mole on the face. He claims that the moles around my friend's neck will become the obstacles for him to achieve prosperity.
A completely lao-qian-ish claim.
He starting by offering my friend to remove the mole at the cost of RM 10. (Note that I use singular for 'mole')
My friend, naturally, dismisses his offer by waving his hand, "I don't want," sounding politely.
Pretending deaf, this man continue his offer, decreasing the cost, despite Mr. Phua waving hand.
I almost go to stop the man, but I didn't.
Well, this man might be a real face-interpretor, maybe he can cure my friend's baldness problem. (Just kidding, friend.)
So, when the man offer RM 5, finally Mr. Phua say yes.
The man take out a stick and tip it at my friend's moles that is around his neck.
Suddenly, my friend feel strange. He ask again the man about the cost.
"Err.. I've remove 9 moles on your neck, so at the cost of RM 5 each mole, you need to pay me RM 45," the man says.
!!!? Gosh! I'm astonished when I hear this.
"Then I don't want already," my friend says, covering his neck by his hand.
But the man still struggle to tip more mole, suddenly my friend scream out,"I DON'T WANT!"
The man seems shocked by his response, and stops his effort.
After some argument, finally the man give up to ask money from my friend before go out from my dad's restaurant.
But the story hasn't end yet.
Hours pass by.
And suddenly I realise almost everyone around my dad's restaurant has some cream on their face.
The shopkeeper of the PC shop next door, paid RM 50 to the man.
My relative, which works as barber at the saloon next-next door, paid RM 100+.
And her customer at the saloon, (I don't know who is it) paid RM 280. =.=
Walao eh, why so many people get cheated by this man.
Wait, at this moment, this man come to my dad's restaurant to use toilet. Let me capture his pic when he's out. XD
