The Fully-Evoluted Creature

There was rumour that he've completed the last stage of evolution
A shiny-black body, a pair of strong wing.
His mouth was so strong that he could destroy virtually anything in this world.
I thought I would never met the creature like him in my life.
But now, staring at me, his mouth curled into a smile.
Like watching a tasty food.
I shuddered.
I tried to scream, but my throat was so dry that nothing come out.
I tried to run, but my legs were shaking so badly that I could hardly move an inch at all.
He was approaching me.
I closed my eyes, resigned to my fate.
Then I heard a thundering sound in front of me.
I opened my eyes, and there he is, dying under my mum sliper, the terrible cockroach.
